CCTV POLICY
Mannin Retail is committed to the security of CCTV data and images to ensure that it
is captured in accordance with the GDPR and the Date protection Acts. Mannin Retail
stores CCTV images/recordings on hard drives (At stores only). Access will be restricted to authorised personnel.
Supervising the access and maintenance of the CCTV System is the responsibility of
the Store Manager overseen by Store Operations. All processing of data done by the
security contractor on behalf of Mannin Retail. Store managers can not under any
circumstances copy or store images without authorisation from the Data controller
(Article 28 GDPR). CCTV requestion from the authorities or persons should go
through the Heron and Brearley IT department.

In certain circumstances, the recordings may also be viewed by other individuals to
achieve the objectives set out below. When recordings are being viewed, access will
be limited to authorised individuals on a need-to-know basis. CCTV covers all
potential areas of theft within our stores. CCTV has the underlying goal of
preventing and detecting crime. All staff should be aware of their use locations of
the cameras and their responsibilities there within.

- Evidence: Footage can be used to identify suspects and support police investigations.
